Our Powder Flasks have been proved by black powder users for many years, hand made in English Hardwoods we take particular care to the design and safety of our flasks, Made form Wood, Brass Bronze and Copper there is no ferrous materials to ignite a spark. Our woods are locally sourced and picked. After initial shaping and removal of the chamber we lay down the wooden part finished body for a time to settle, prior to sanding and polishing the wood the part finished body is checked for settling cracks, any found with defects are rejected. The sfaety features built in are the body is made in two parts and glued together, there is a safety blow out plug in the measure has a sprung loaded catch to ensure the powder inside is not exposed to the outside. Woods we use are Oak, Ash, Elm, Beech, Sycamore and Cherry although these are subject to availability.

Small Primer Flask.
Ideal for priming instead of using your measured powder flask, use this in addition to your measured powder flask. As with all our flasks the spouts are interchangeable with any of our measures, The current spout has a 6mm diameter hole through thus giving enough powder for priming. Will hold around 1 oz of powder. Sizes are Base Length 100mm, Height to Catch 85mm, Width 32mm
